DESCRIPTION:

The OPTIMA 3® vaginal probe is a probe consisting of 3 independent hemispherical electrodes, thanks to which it ensures a perfect fit and allows simultaneous stimulation of both branches of the puborectalis muscle, regardless of the orientation of the probe. The probe allows you to stimulate different areas of the perineal muscles from the front or side, from back to front by placing the probe in a central or lateral position.

Each of the electrodes can be used as a reference for Biofeedback.

The shape of the probe, round electrodes and lightness enable easy application and comfortable use. External stop allows easy positioning of the probe.

The electrodes are gold plated and nickel free. This type of probes guarantees better electrical conductivity and is also an excellent solution for people allergic to nickel.

INDICATION:

1. electrical stimulation:

• classic stimulation of the levator muscles
• unilateral stimulation of the right or left levator muscle
• proximal or distal stimulation of the levator muscles

2. BFB EMG

• recording of muscle activity in the supine position or when changing position

3. electrical stimulation combined with BFB EMG

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

• anal or rectal infection
• colorectal or genitourinary cancer
• pregnancy
• pacemaker - consultation with a doctor is necessary
• vesicoureteral reflux
• hypotonic bladder
