CALMON collared urethral pessary
The CALMONA silicone collar urethral pessary is used for stress urinary incontinence, which may co-occur with vaginal wall depression and a functional pelvic diaphragm. Thanks to the thickening of the pessary, which supports the area of the connection between the bladder and the urethra, it is possible to prevent urine leakage. The urethral pessary prevents the upper part of the urethra from opening when intra-abdominal pressure increases when coughing or moving.
The urethral pessary can be used in cases of minor uterine prolapse.
