How to use Pelvic Wand?
Step 1
Wash the Pelvic Wand with warm, soapy water. Choose a quiet, comfortable spot in your home, such as your bed.
Step 2
Give the Pelvic Wand a specific shape that will allow you to reach the desired point.
Step 3
Apply a generous amount of water-based lubricant to the first 1-2 inches of the tip, as well as the vaginal opening. Using water-based lubricant is important to maintain the silicone.
Step 4
Begin by lying on your back with your knees bent and your feet planted. Some people prefer to lie on their side instead. In this case, be sure to bend your knees and place a pillow between your knees.
Step 5
Begin your session by inhaling and relaxing your belly, then exhaling, allowing your belly to slowly fall. A slow exhale helps to naturally relax your pelvic floor muscles. Repeat the deep breathing pattern and continue to do so evenly and deliberately. Gently place the wand against the vaginal opening and carefully insert it as you exhale.
Step 6
Gently sweep the tip of the wand until you find a tender point. Once you find the tender point, gently press the tip of the wand into the point with the same force you would use to test the ripeness of, say, a tomato. Don't press too hard.
Step 7
Keep gentle pressure on the tender point and slowly move your bent knee left and right until you find a position that stops the pain in your pelvic floor muscles. Once you find this position, stay there for 1 to 2 minutes to allow the trigger point to fully release. Continue to breathe deeply.
Repeat this process 1 or 2 times a day as needed.
