Soft AlbisPro cube pessaries are made of very soft, friendly medical silicone. Large perforations allow secretions to drain and prevent inflammation. What distinguishes the AlbisPro cube pessary is a thin silicone-coated thread emerging centrally from the center of the pessary. The thread does not absorb secretions and urine, ensuring complete hygiene and no abrasions in intimate areas.

The silicone cube pessary is used for various degrees of uterine and vaginal depression. It is also used before surgery to eliminate vaginal and/or uterine prolapse. A pessary can be used to treat urinary incontinence.

Cube pessaries - what size to choose?

The size of the cube pessary is selected in a doctor's or physiotherapist's office. A well-chosen size does not cause pressure sores or pressure in the birth canal. A well-chosen size stays in place, blocking falling organs. In order to rebuild the tissue inside the vagina, the pessary is applied together with estrogen administered vaginally. The cube pessary can be replaced with a smaller size over time if the therapy progresses properly. This is decided by a specialist.

Contraindications for cube pessaries:

• vaginal discharge and bleeding,
• active infections and inflammation,
• when the person using the pessary is unable to manage it independently (inserting and removing it independently), such a person may require help from relatives,
• silicone allergy.
